Chestnut Rau’s weekly round-up of upcoming SL events…
Since 2005 participating in Octoberville has been an annual tradition for many. Octoberville is more than a Halloween build and much more than a hunt. It is a massive interactive game in which players participate in an interactive story by assuming the role of a detective -- finding clues, items and
completing achievements. Beginning this year, Octoberville has incorporated nonsexual roleplay into the storyline, with roles for everyone from children, to country
bumpkins, to the most serious of vampires.
To start this experience travel to the Private Eye building and fetch your briefcase. There you will get a HUD and the first clue. Once you have solved all the
puzzles, your name will automatically appear on the Wall of Fame. Do not expect
to finish this game quickly! It can easily take several days to
complete all the activities in Octoberville but don't let that put you off. Octoberville is great fun! For more information read the Octoberville Forums. In PixelTrix. [SLurl teleport at this link]
