Great Machinima Artist Blogs About the People and Passions Behind Her Work

I've written about ColeMarie Soleil several times, and that's no surprise, as she's an innovative machinima maker with a deeply personal vision (and happens to be a great singer too.) Now she has her own blog with all or most of her machinima, and she's using it to annotate the people, passions, and locations that went into making each possible.

Of the video featured above, for example, she writes, "This video touches on my personal experience within SL. No matter who you are here. What you create. What you do. Why you are here. We are all giving up little slices of ourselves one login at a time."

So the blog is one way to compile those slices, so to speak. "I thought it would be nice to have a set place where people could go watch the videos and learn a bit more about them than just.... 'Oh that's a neat video'," she told me recently. See and read much more here.
