Second Life entrepreneur Peter Stindberg has an extensive post comparing five e-commerce sites for SL content, especially in the wake of controversy over recent Linden pricing decisions for the company's own service, xStreetSL. (At left is the logo for Vitty, a site targeted at Japanese Residents, but also featuring an English translation.) "All have different concepts and strengths and weaknesses," he concludes. "I assume merchants will need to live with maintaining multiple platforms, and need to develop strategies and maybe even tools to update listings on all of them."
