Here's a cool cross platform project to try over the holiday season: The creation of Japanese Resident developer Akko Yoshikawa, the World Wide Message Tree displays messages in Second Life sent in-world via email or Twitter. To send your Tweet into SL, go to Twitter and enter "@SLVoice + your message"; via email send a short message to [email protected]. The final result looks like this in-world:
Here's the official site's English language site, rough hewn as it is. (If I read that and Akko's messages to me correctly, the Twitter function may still be under development.) In any case, see the tree -- and hopefully, your message -- in the Second Life region called ARK. [SLURL teleport link here]
The system has update. The message reaches tree by # SLVoice,@SLVoice or #SL.However, hashtag is depending on twitter. It might be unstable.
