New Toulouse is a lovely sim modeled after Old New Orleans. As the residents are beginning to prepare for Mardi Gras they have discovered a terrible crime has been committed! There has been a heinous murder and the gentle people of New Toulouse need your help to solve the mystery. If you want to help solve the mystery of the murder of Albert Caput, you need to pick up a HUD and use it to find and solve the clues hidden around New Toulouse. There are 20 clues in all and once you have collected them you can claim a prize. Are you considering purchasing a sim in SL? This class will teach you what you need to know before you take that big step. Before taking this class you must be able to access the About Land tab and be able to set land parameters. You should know the difference between mainland and private estate regions. Once you have taken this class you will understand the history of the SL land Industry, be able to plan and calculate prim allocation and availability, plan a sim layout for building and landscaping, manage a private estate with prim bonuses and construct rental price tariffs on sim developments. To celebrate the influence India has had on Japan (most specifically with Buddhism), the Geisha, Oiran and Yakusha apprentices of Shinmachi have prepared an Indian Belly dance performance that will be accompanied by traditional music and fairy tales. The show will last about 20 minutes, with the performers available afterward for chatting. Shinmachi District is a Hanamachi and Performance House for the Edo period Japan artists known as Geisha, Oiran (and Tayuu) and Kabuki actors. 3. Please send related graphics such as screen shots or photo of the event site, if available.
4. Events with artistic, cultural, scientific, political, creative, and/or educational value preferred.
5. Events sponsored or promoted by real world corporations are welcome,
as long they serve and entertain the Second Life community, and/or
foster
Resident-made content (live music, builds, scripting, fashion, games, etc.) Events that merely promote the company or organization's Second Life presence
are not generally appropriate; you may instead consider advertising your event or service on New World Notes.
6. Mature-rated events are permissible, but listing descriptions should
be PG-13. Political and religious events are encouraged, though those
of an
extreme or non-inclusive variety are rarely included.
7. Bonus consideration given to game-related or machinima events, and
for events with "I've never seen that in SL before!" value.
