New World Notes on Facebook
All this talk of social networks reminded me to finish creating a New World Notes page on Facebook, for fans of Iris Ophelia's sexy style coverage, Chestnut Rau's worldly SL events calendar, Willow Caldera's wonderful music reviews, Sanny Yoshikawa's eloquent Japanese translation, and, well, me.
If you're on Facebook, please join and show other New World Notes readers your Facebook face! And go there to join the conversation with fellow FBers. And yes, I'll also add an Avatars United widget for NWN whenever that's created (hint hint)

To what end, exactly? Does a Facebook page for a blog convey any value that can't be achieved by simply going to the blog?

Well, it'll help establish and publicize a community of NWN readers. Also I want to make it an ongoing open forum for NWN, so people on Facebook can quickly post info/topics/stories they think we should write about here.
