My Second Life Weekend will consist mostly of chasing down funny profiles, weird new products, incredibly dumb things noob males say to the women, and much more for your reading enjoyment, smiles. I've written extensively about the crazy side of SL at my site, www.Marcos-Second-Life-Humor.com, on numerous topics. You are bound to find some funny stuff that will give you a chuckle.
Have fun!

We had a great party on the City of Dee but this weekend I realised I can't use the new viewer, which disappoints me greatly but the new camera controls are a step too far, I can't put up with how annoying they are so it's going to have to be the old viewer for me.

Checking that everything about Viewer 2.0 Beta, that needs to be, has been picked up in the JIRA - and worrying about a sl friend who is currently touring Chile.

I am still digesting and making plans based on all the great input I got at SLPro!, the in-world content creator conference I attended this week. It was an incredibly fun and inspiring time.

I'm actually doing stuff in Second Life this weekend, which is different in itself.

I've spent most of the weekend test-driving Viewer 2 Beta, and posting with abundant frequency on the blogs. Sadly, my initial excitement about the viewer -- and I really was excited, and am still trying to give it a fair shake -- has diminished considerably, as my impressions are now more negative than positive. /me sighs.
