The suicide of UK fashion designer Alexander McQueen sent shockwaves through the Second Life fashionista community, enough to inspire a tribute show by dozens of SL designers late last month, with proceeds raised this month going to Keep a Child Alive, an awesome non-profit devoted to fighting HIV/AIDS in the developing world. Among the contributors is legendary creator Eshi Otawara, who announced her withdrawal from the world last October. She returned at least for the sake of this radically gorgeous design, which Harper Beresford models here. You can buy a copy to benefit KCA in Second Life [SLURL] I would love to see more SL designs like this from Eshi. Then again, I'd love to see real life designers like Anne-Sofie Back who draw from SL as an inspiration for their own work see more designs like those from Eshi.
