Bixyl Shuftan has an intriguing profile of Tyrehl Byk's particle effects show in a region called Disturbed Fear
, a phantasmagoria of light, sound, and music:I found myself on a small platform about 4000 in the air. It was night, and the platform was a circle of chairs around what looked like a large bonsai tree. It began with a couple blue dots floating into the screen... They were soon followed by colorful swirls. Then came a number of smiley faces, soon followed by some agressive-looking ones, the screen suddenly full of spinning pictures of disasters and troubled images, the music blaring, “It’s the end of the world, as we know it.”
Delinda Dryssen has much more details and raves on the show, with many readers chiming in. ("One of the Best Things I have ever seen in Second Life!" is a typical opinion.) I can't wait to catch a show myself.

Phaylen Fairchild Just saw the show last night and I have to say her way with words has to be the best description I have read about this show yet..
"Imagine sitting on the banks of some remote lake in Alaska staring up at the night sky baring witness to the fantastic wonder that is the Aurora Borealis. It’s at once mystifying and breathtaking. Now combine that with powerful orchestral synchronization and vivid special effects that are masterfully executed and you’re left awestruck. That was Mr. Byk’s show. In fact, it was so moving and inspiring that I think everyone should see it. It quite literally embodies what lengths artistry is capable of reaching on virtual platforms by creators. "
