Saturday 7/24: Virtual Ability will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which is landmark US civil rights legislation protecting the rights of persons with disabilities. Virtual Ability is one of the 2009 Linden Prize winners. The organization offers resources to help people with real-world disabilities use Second Life, with the goal of facilitating the medical and psychological benefits offered by virtual environments.
The ADA celebration starts at 7:30am with a Welcome by Gentle Heron the President of Virtual Ability. There will be a full day of informational sessions with experts on all facets of the ADA. In addition, visitors will enjoy an exhibit of photographs depicting the history of the ADA and displays about legal protections for persons with disabilities as well. To give the community plenty of time to absorb the information the exhibits will be in place through the end of July. After the talks, there will be a party from 3pm to 5pm with music and dancing. Thursday 7/221:30 - ZeroOne Paz Live at Astral Dreams

Lance Rembrandt's CD release party for his new EP “I Wish You Were Here” will be hosted and celebrated at the futuristic Pop Art Lab main stage. There will be live concerts as well as screens for both Viewer 2.0 and regular viewers showcasing videos. This EP is the first of three that LANCE will be releasing over this summer into early fall.
