Chestnut Rau’s weekly round-up of upcoming SL events…
This weekend Mantis Oh (Cari Lekebusch in RL) will hold two launch parties for his new album State of the Art. The parties will take place Friday 7/9 at 1pm and again on Sunday 7/11 at 1pm. Mantis is an accomplished electronic music artist who is very well known in European and North American Electronic music communities. The parties will be the world premiere of artists Kimono and Jesper Dahlback, who are part of Lekebusch's RL recording label H-Productions. A video will be shot during the events so dress to impress!
Mantis commissioned Hern Worsley of AVZ who was the creator of the fabulous Poetik sim to craft his vision for the build where the parties will be held. The sim is a dark, glowy space that sparks the imagination and is well worth exploring. There are fantastic freebies to be found and the space is a photographer's dream. Make sure you visit, even if you can't make it to either of the launch parties. Although for the life of me I can't imagine why you would miss this event. In South Purden.
