Exclusive to NWN, Iris Ophelia's ongoing showcase of all things stylish in SL
The last of my top three Summer bikinis (see my other choices here and also here) could actually have taken up all three spots on its own: Aranel Ah's Infinity Bikinis from BOOM [SLurl] are sold as separates, so there is a choice of two different tops, four different bottoms, and about a dozen different colours and prints. They feature pretty prim bows tying the back and at the hips, and I can honestly say I don't have any complaints about them! I'd originally picked up a black version of this floral print pair, which reminded me of an iconic Anna Sui print, but I had to go back and grab the green version to match my accessory of choice.
And what might that accessory be? Keep reading to find out!
Nope, it's not that gorgeously colourful jeweled necklace from Zaara, but rather the strikingly sculpted prim foot Tropica Flip Flops by Oct Oakleaf of +ADDiCTIA+ [SLurl]. These shoes offer a pretty elaborate HUD plug-in system that includes various different foot tattoos and pedicures (including this fun green and pink floral design that matches my bikini almost exactly!) which each have an array of placement options. The shading and texture work on these sandals is quite nice, and the HUD also gives you the option to go barefoot with or without the anklet.
My one gripe is that I find the big toe is a little bit thicker than I would normally prefer. This is an issue I have with several prim feet, and I think it has something to with keeping the top view of the foot more balanced and proportionate-looking, so I can deal with it. After all, most of us don't spend so much time inspecting the profiles of our toes anyway.
That's it for bikinis and one-piece swimwear! (See my other choices here and also here.) But what could be left? Find out soon as I wrap up my summer swimwear extravaganza!
