Chestnut Rau's Weekly Roundup of Upcoming Events...
The annual Imagine Festival in SL opens this weekend marking the day legend John Lennon was born. The Festival is a two day long celebration that asks us to stop and imagine the world as we would like to be in the future. It is not a fund raising festival, it is an awareness raising festival. There will be 3D art installations, concerts, talks about a wide range of issues like the architecture and monetary systems of the future. There will be storytelling, photo exhibitions, music and poetry. There will be things to do and things to see all over the grid between Saturday 10/9 and Sunday 10/10. For a full calendar of events and SLurls to locations please go to the blog or to Facebook.
“Imagine all the people
Living life in peace…
Sharing all the world…
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one” – John Lennon, Imagine
