So Friday is usually the day when I highlight posts by Second Life bloggers and others, but here's the sucky thing: My RSS reader, Bloglines, recently changed ownership, and just launched a painfully bad website revamp that irks me worse than glass shards in my urethra. I'm sure it's going to take days or even weeks to figure out a better RSS reading alternative and restore my subscriptions in it, so please help me out in the meantime: Post links to interesting blog posts you've read recently, which a quick description for why it rocks. Not just posts on Second Life, but anything else related to what you usually read on New World Notes lately: OpenSim, Minecraft, Blue Mars, movies with metaverse flavor, Kinect hacks, 3D technology and applications, innovative gaming, virtual worlds, MMOs, and suchlike. And yes, you can plug a post your wrote yourself. (Because what's the point of blogging if you can't self-pimp?)

This online virtual game crushes Second Life's unique visitors, just thought you could check out the post :)

Well, it's a bit older of a story, however, due to the nature of the story, it stands out as a classic event that ties into SL. It's about a Hamlet Au sighting in another virtual world that took place a couple months back:

It is an interesting story to say the least.

Damn LLL, you're really fixated on Planet Michael for some reason, whattup with that?
Abdul, that's a good link! I've blogged a lot about Habbo. On the other side, while Habbo has way more users than SL, Sulake and Linden Lab make about as much money.

Concidering the fact that Habbo is filled with teens, Habbo is dominating Second Life. No doubt about that :P
