Chakryn Forest, the utterly gorgeous Second Life forest owned by my friend Bettina Tizzy, was very recently updated. "I couldn't bear the idea that Chakryn might be looking dated after THREE years," Ms. Tizzy explained in a notecard to the Forests' lovers (of which I am one), "so Andrek Lowell has installed all new trees, bushes, grasses and rocks. New hiding places, new secrets, and a new quest, too." Kathy Jameson of Caledonian Journey recently took some photos, including that one above. Of course the best way to experience it is in full 3D and surround sound:
