Found Aywren's blog fascinating - might even have a look at the fireflies that are mentioned.
Aywren Sojourner commented on 'Blogging About Second Life's Breedable Animals'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf74053ef014e8827154c970d2011-04-29T17:46:32Z2011-04-29T17:46:32ZAywren Sojournerhttp://www.sygnus.org/secondlifepets/Thank you kindly for such a great spotlight on my little blog! There's a lot of folks who do enjoy the breeding and gaming aspects of pets in SL. It's one thing that's drawn me back to the grid after having drifted a way for a while.

Breedable pets have come a long way since the chickens, that's for sure! Pets do have a bad rap as being laggy and resource-intensive (some pets may still be!). However, the developers are finding more and more ways to script newer pets efficiently, allowing pet owners to choose settings that reduce sim stress. For example, the Meeroos turn off on their own when no one is around and the Rovees don't even need to be rezed to grow, develop and breed.

Anyhow. Thanks again for the feature -- let me know if I can ever do something in return! :)
Hamlet Au commented on 'Blogging About Second Life's Breedable Animals'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf74053ef01538e338527970b2011-04-29T17:40:49Z2011-04-29T17:40:49ZHamlet AuAck, fixed!
Ack, fixed!
rikomatic commented on 'Blogging About Second Life's Breedable Animals'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf74053ef01538e337e48970b2011-04-29T17:32:35Z2011-04-29T22:11:13Zrikomatichttp://profile.typepad.com/rikomatic"Breeadable"?
"Breeadable"?
