Prim Perfect has a great and exciting scoop for fans of Second Life music: The performer known in SL as Skye Galaxy (and Sean Ryan IRL) has gone pro, singing for top EU DJ André Tanneberger, whose own stage name is ATB. Here's Skye singing this month in front a massive crowd in Romania, with that rich and angeically ragged voice that Second Life fans have known and loved for years:
Sean is currently on tour with ATB in Europe, with May shows in Poland and Germany, and then three in the US, Newport Beach, Vegas, and Denver: Check out the playdates here.
I'm not sure if Skye is performing for the whole tour, and I'm trying to get in touch with him now (but you know those globetrotting rockstars.)
So meantime, check out New World Notes' profile of Skye Galaxy, who we wrote about in 2009, when NWN freelancer Willow Caldera prophetically wondered if Skye Galaxy was destined to become Second Life's first breakout popstar. And my brief interview with him last year, when he wowed fans of Imogen Heap. And be sure to follow Skye on Twitter as @saneyarn. Pretty great progress for a punky elf popstar.
Some of us got to see Sean at the Bunny Jam last night. Too bad for those who decided they didn't want to go to Bunny Jam. There was room for 160 people.

Actually you are not well informed.
He havent left the US yet, its just ATB playing the song at a performance of ATB alone. Plus Sean will be doing only 1 show (for now), the one in Poland.
And he did his first Pro Recording before he even joined SL.
