Hybie Mynx of Second Life Arts and Entertainment has beautifully illustrated praise for an SL sim called Peaceful Forest: See her pics and write-up after the break! - Hamlet
I love to get lost in the forests of SL. Exploring and discovering sims that are filled with magic and nature is one of the things I love most. Wandering around, finding hidden places full of beauty.
As sims not filled with vendors become more and more scarce with passing time, these kinds of beautiful landscapes are what keep me coming back.

So visit this peaceful and serene natural sim while you can because, you never know when the next quiet and comfortable setting can disappear and become another shopping mall.

I hate to be a naysayer, since there is nothing offensive in this article -- however -- Katie and I started our romance garden just because of places like this. And by that, I mean nothing to do but stare. All the immersive quality of SL is lost when you turn it into a flat picture. As a reaction to places like this, we started our romance garden where people could actually do things in the beautiful garden besides look. We wanted visitors to become involved, become immersed, and to use multiple senses and not just vision. I'm sorry for going off -- I just hate static sims.

"where people could actually do things in the beautiful garden besides look"

I hate to be a naysayer Hybie, but boo. Your photos and article on such a sad static sim leave me wanting more... Please feature places where I can go, find naked noobs and explore poseball sex while on voice. I find such places and experiences very immersive, rewarding and enriches my SL. <3

I really find it depressing that the first comment someone leaves is about how you want to do something more than "stare". It's saddening that going to admire the beauty of someone's mind made pixel is boring. I'm personally always amazed when someone can take little bits and pieces and create a whole picture as stunning as this is. I personally find "romance" gardens creepifying and disturbingly unoriginal.
Thank you, Hybie, for showing us the creative and lovely places in SL that can let us appreciate the soul of a person behind an avi.

dear ajax, your sim looks like its stuck in 2006, thus no one wants to blog about it. this blog is about an inspiring piece of work, i personally would rather take a lovely walk through this "static sim" with my husband than spend more than the time it takes to teleport out of your establishment in embarassment.

Yeah, Ajax, I'm sorry to say, but sims like yours really drag down the quality of SL. It was ok 7 years ago before people brought quality content in world, but it's 2011.
