The Black Blogger, as the name suggests, is a great resource and showcase for quality non-white avatar skins, which as Iris Ophelia just pointed out, are still fairly difficult to find in Second Life. Enter Ms. Sydd Sinister, self-described "Short, Curvy, Black SL Fashion Punk", to the rescue, and not a goddamn moment too soon. And yes, she also covers non-white avatar skins for males. Thanks to Angie Mornington for the tip!

Typing as an avatar who is SE Asian, I'd like to point out that 'non-white' doesn't mean 'African-American'. Skins for us folks are pretty much non-existent!

Oh wow I'm super late, just now saw this. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am really honored to have been blogged by you =)
@Oriella I completely agree with you, I think Asian, Latin & Indian skins are still even rarer to find in SL unfortunately.
One of my favorite bloggers Chav Paderborn does a great job of showing Asian skins http://chavpaderborn.wordpress.com/
i hope that this can be a great blog resource for you.

@ Oriella, I'm SE Asian also and I've complained about dark Asian skins also on my blog. Tricky Boucher of Belleza just released an Asian female skin called "Aiko" and his dark tan tone is friggin lovely and a lot like my tone in RL.
I've actually spoken to Tricky and sent him references of darker Asian skin tones and he totally embraced it, so check it out!
