Click here to request an early Alpha invite to Creatarr, a new social game now being developed by Jim "Babbage Linden" Purbrick, who left Linden Lab last year to do this project. Jim's a drinking buddy (as this photo suggests) but that bias aside, I think it's a game with a lot of promise, taking a lot of what's great about Second Life and incorporating it with some cool new ideas. But let's let Babbage explain:
"Creatarr is a social game that encourages creativity. The goal is to take the amazing collaborative creation and creative economy of Second Life to the web and add gameplay mechanics to provide goals, inspiration and creative limits." So there you go. Like I said, it's early Alpha, so don't expect incredible polish; however, do expect some Babbagistic creativity -- and a chance to share yours. Again, click here to request a super secret closed invite.
Thanks for sharing this. I can't wait to see what this turns out to be.
Babbage seemed like a smart creative guy from the few office hours of his I attended.
