Seriously, just look at it. In fact, click here to see it larger sizes. And yes yes, the base of the image was created in Second Life, by someone with the name of Graphic Dix, who did some heavy ninja post-processing magic to make it look thus. It's under a Creative Commons license, so I sort of think every single blogger reading this now should also blog this image and write, "Look! Look! Look at what is possible to make in Second Life when someone with the talent of Mr. Graphic Dix makes it!"
Alternately, just already go to the Flickr stream of Graphic Dix and let your eyeballs feast.
Hat tip: Ms. Nylon Pinkney.
Amazing and beautiful stream!

Visit quarktime.net for a webcomic whose artwork begins in SL.

It's a real good example of the tons of amazing SL based photo manipulation art. Not sure why you have gone so GaGa over this one though. I assume you have not witnessed much of the amazing art in SL and the huge art community.

I agree with maggie and toysoldier. There are many, many extremely talented photographers and PS artist on the grid. You might want to take a look at Kyrie Source for one. http://kyriesource.wordpress.com/2011/07/26/299/
