SLers on Reddit, please go here to introduce yourself to /r/secondlife community, which has nearly 400 members, while the thread itself has about 3 dozen SLers. Then go here to upvote and downvote all the many links that are coming down the pike.
Via /r/secondlife, for instance, I just discovered Stanford's Virtual Human Interaction Lab site, which is an incredibly useful repository of academic research on virtual worlds and MMOs.
