Speaking of machinima, here's the winner of this year's 48 Hour Machinima contest, which was co-judged by R2D2's creator:
Shot in Second Life, "The Lucid Journey", a story of lost love and lucid dreams that lead to other worlds, directed by SLer Fake Jewell. Very impressive, especially for 2 days of production.
