Drone War is a new FPS game developed in SL by Italian SLer Sergio Delacruz that I haven't played yet, but this video demo makes it look pretty promising:
Game includes mesh-based assets, so you need a recent SL viewer to play. If I'm reading the rules right, it's multiplayer, but not PvP; instead, player compete to be first to disable a base's ticking bomb, while battle bots try to pick the players off. Click here for the rules and click here for the direct SLurl teleport into SL to start playing.
The HUD will stay visible and clickable while in mouselook? Or is it working through some other means?
My problem, from a technical POV (*), with a lot of combat games in SL is that mouselook disables most of the UI. And many of the combat HUD attack methods only work in mouselook...
(*) technical because my real problem is that its not my kind of interest. Just that when I try it I end up feeling like a V1 user complaining about V3... UI all wrong for my mindset. :)

I would like to say that I will gladly do any voiceover work for any SL machinima for free. I don't have the best speaking voice, but I'm not a robot.
That aside, neat game!
