"Ray Kurzweil’s SXSW Keynote Speech Draws Mixed Reaction, According to CrowdFlower’s Sentiment Analysis of 1100+ Tweets" is my latest post on the blog of CrowdFlower, the enterprise crowdsourcing platform where I'm also blogging lately. (And enjoying quite a bit.) As the title suggests, we had our contributors analyze 1,188 Tweets about Kurzweil's talk, to get a sense of what the audience found most worth Tweeting from the futurist's keynote, and their opinion of what he said. (Negative, positive, or neutral.) Yielded some pretty interesting results, I thhink. You might also be interested in this sentiment analysis of the SXSW keynote by Rainn Wilson. (Who NWN readers might remember for announcing the immortal words of Dwight Schrute in The Office, "Second Life is not a game!") Interestingly, in real life Wilson actually founded his own virtual community: SoulPancake, for online discussion of religion and philosophy.
