Reset is an upcoming indie game for the PC, a "first-person puzzle game" with amazing graphics and an even more brilliant game mechanic; watch the impressive trailer, with everything shot directly in-game through the graphics engine:
And the ingenious game mechanic? This: "[T]he ability to travel back in time to solve puzzles co-operatively, with yourself." Yes. Not sure how that actually works in gameplay, but yes. Read more about it here.
As someone who uses SL, but doesn't play (or understand) the world of games, could someone explain what is supposed to be notable enough about the video clip above to make it of any interest?
How is that different from a straight movie? There is no interaction going on - just some plants growing, some lighting effects, and some video screens.
