Iris ran a tutorial showing how to take Skyrim photographs like a boss this week, so we should also show you how to bossify your SL photographs too -- or just as good, point you to two tutorials to do just that:
- Cajsa Lilliehook shows you how to take great, un-touched pictures like the one above with a Dual Projector Box (which you can get on the SL Marketplace here).
- Strawberry Singh has a helpful guide to her favorite settings in Second Life's debug menu, which she uses to improve her SL photographs. For instance, the RenderVolumeLODFactor setting, she says, "makes all my prims and sculpts look 100 times better".
Seen another great tutorial recently? Post the link in Comments!
For testing you can also use this free 0L$ Photostudio Demo which uses Projectors instead of Point Lights.
You can't change any settings of this box but if you play with the windlight settings you can get some really good shadows and light effects as you can see in this 2 example pix i made.
