I'm liking the Singularity third party viewer for Second Life, which is what I'm running in the screenshot above (at Rose Borchovski's "Arrival" installation, which I blogged last week). Pretty good frame rate and crash-free so far, certainly moreso than the official viewer. (And I'm having trouble with my AlienWare laptop battery, which is making it tough to even run my web browser, let alone a 3D client, but Singularity still performed smashingly.) Displaying dynamic shadows is still a no-go, but I've learned to give up on that for now.

Honestly Biff that's not much different than Phoenix, half that team has worked on "naughty" viewers (heck, even Jessica had Catnip viewer) and they're still associated with the banned Emerald developers, they just use new accounts now.
It doesn't affect the quality of the viewer, if you like it use it and stop whinging.

When I changed to the Singularity viewer my FPS shot up to the 60's. It is very very noticeably the fastest viewer there is. And where Phoenix was crash-a-day, I have never crashed with Singularity in over a year now.

I'm glad you got a viewer working well for you, but you should know that you really don't have the hardware to run shadows full time with that 335M.
I'll also say again, if one has trouble running an LL viewer, try deleting your "settings.xml" file. Sometimes a new viewer release won't play nice with that file if you've had it around for a while. Delete it, restart SL, let it recreate it, and redo your settings. The file's location depends on OS, you can google for the location.
Also laptop batteries go bad after a while, replace it, or run the laptop on AC power.

Singularity is my regular viewer, and my go-to when I get sick of trying out new ones. It's a bit of old and a bit of new, but it simply works and works well.

But what about mesh? does it show mesh?

Yes, it shows Meshes very well, but has no Mesh upload as of now. And can also handle Windlight (which is called Lightshare in Opensim worlds)besides a lot of other functions like a Grid manager etc. Singularity is my recommended viewer on Opensim Worlds.
