Eddi Haskell has gathered and posted the top ten Second Life blogs according to Technorati, as compiled and judged by Eddi. (For instance, he eliminated blogs without unique content, but just a feed, and only those which show up when searching "Second Life" in Technorati.) If you're a regular and close reader of New World Notes, you'll recognize 7 of the top 10, but I just found three I've personally never seen until now: All Fashion SL (pictured above), My Second Life (with Pets), and Second Life 24h, all worth checking out too.
That said, bare in mind that influence on Technorati is quite not the same as actual influence overall. For instance, due to the Technorati qualifies what a "blog" is, the official Second Life blog is not apparently included, and surely it's among the most influential. (Though not updated enough to rank number one, I'd say.)

Don't you have to put your blog on Technorati (sign up) to be rated on it?

HEY! This was a cool thing to find - someone other than my husband might be reading my blog. Cool!

Nice to see some fresh-looking places that I've never seen. But I would love to see this repeated with Google for "Second Life blog" as I had to unblock all of Technorati just to get their $&# tracker-infested style sheets to render their site.
And Hamlet, do you really need 10 trackers, too? Facebook, Amazon, Quantcast, Kiss Metrics, Typad, Federated Media, and Google all now know that I saw this.

Thanks for publishing this Hamlet. Yes, the Second Life blogs did not show up for some reason, but perhaps they do not meet the definition of a blog. I actually have been tracking this for about two years and New World Notes is always number 1 - which is not surprising!

Apparently I was on the December list and didn't even know it. DOH!
