Iris Ophelia's ongoing review of gaming and virtual world style
Fantasy Faire is one of the most successful annual Relay For Life events in Second Life, and it opens for business tomorrow. Every year this event is packed with everything from gorgeous medieval gowns to monstrous avatar accessories, making it a must-see for anyone with tastes beyond virtual jeans and t-shirts. If you're eager for an early look at the sims and the scenery behind the event, machinimagician (am I allowed to call him that?) Draxtor Despres has a couple videos well worth watching...
It looks like there will be a lot of beautiful locations to check out and shop in, but Draxtor's also shining a spotlight on the building work of Alia Baroque in particular...
I can't get enough of this stunning Mediterranean build, and I can't wait to see it in person. Fantasy Faire always attracts tons of amazing virtual artists, from designers to builders and even photographers, all working together to make one of the most showstopping events in SL better and better every year.
You can see more in a full episode of Draxtor's ongoing series, The Drax Files: World Builders, devoted to Fantasy Faire right here. The faire will be open from the 20th to the 28th, so once it starts there isn't much time to waste. Don't dawdle and drop by before it's too late!
