My SL Land is Rising & Consuming My Office But Why & WTF?

For some reason, the land in Waterhead where I've kept my office for years and years (I think since 2005?) has been gradually rising. I've noticed this happening over the last year or so, and while I can edit the terrain to correct this, I'm more fascinated in watching the process. To give you a perspective of how much its risen, at my feet is the official Snow Crash shrine, which is about 10 feet tall, and those large marijuana plants which I have to water everyday or they turn brown are about 25 feet high. (LOL he said "high".) I'm kind of unclear what exacty is going on, but because Waterhead is fully owned and controlled by Linden Lab (I've had my office there since I was a Linden), I'm kinda not in a good place to complain. Which is no big deal, really, because I'm curious how high the land will rise.

can confirm there's something VERY wrong with Waterhead and not just your parcel. Contact the Lindens, it's that serious. Enter waterhead from any other region and you'll be frozen in the animation you came in on. And it looks like there's been some terraforming... but your actual land is LOWER than it was....your stuff seems to have drifted down even further than that. That sort of thing can happen...did Waterhead get pathfinding enabled recently or is it on some test server build? My NWN LM was supposed to put me at height 41, but I ground is at 29. I can't even see that settee/couch thing you had out.

This is very interesting, because I swear on my parcel on the mainland, where I've had my homepoint set for at least two years now, has moved a few feet to the left! I've Teleported near a doorway since inception, and now I'm teleporting in front of my bathroom instead. I wonder if anyone else notices something amiss.
