Janine "Iris Ophelia" Hawkins' ongoing review of gaming and virtual world style
It's no secret that Hamlet and I are both huge fans of the work of SL artist Graphic Dix, whose gorgeously edited snapshots are also favorites among Second Life's fashion community. Graphic is easily in the top tier of virtual photographers in SL, and his newest work makes it easy to see why.
Highlighting the latest collection from Paper Couture, one of the most long-standing "virtual couture" brands, this pic is immaculately composed, flawlessly edited, and an absolute showstopper no matter which way you look at it. To get a bit pretentious about it (just for a moment I swear), the way Graphic plays with light and dark in most of his shots is almost his signature, along with his polished edges and bold composition. All this is what makes his work stand out.
You can see more of Graphic Dix's awe-inspiring work on his Flickr stream here, or check out the inspiration for this shot at Paper Couture's boutique in Tableau [SLURL]. Although the latest collection doesn't seem to be on the Marketplace yet, hopefully it will be relatively soon for those who prefer shopping from the comfort of their browser.

Its just sad that such a talented person can be so condescending. try to point out something you think could be improved in his pictures, and he will rant against your flickr stream, that you don't have any talent, that you don't know shoot about taking pics in SL, that your photoshop skills suck, mute and delete you from his stream, and spam yours with hateful comments. Unfortunately i had to witness this behavior a good dozen times until i decided to delete him.
