Coming Soon: You Won't Be Able to Resist the Soft, Sleepy Charms of this Second Life Pup

No, this adorable gif I've posted is not taken from a viral video and no, it's not from some sort of beautiful HD version of Nintendogs. That precious pup is 100% Second Life mesh, and if you don't believe me all you need to do is wait for the name tag to pop up briefly in the lower lefthand corner.

But where can you get your hands on this warm little bundle of polygons? Well...

Both the animated mesh puppy and the teaser gif are the work of Diarmuid Miklos of ISPACHI as part of a set of decor items for the September round of The Arcade. Like everything else at the event, you'll need luck on your side to win this little baby from the gacha machines, where customers pay a fraction of what an item would cost on its own for a random chance at any of the machine's contents. But don't worry, if your luck fails you there are always other customers looking to trade nearby.

So mark your calendars; The Arcade opens its doors at midnight on September 1st.
