In case you were wondering (and I'm sure you were), this is my most Favorited/Retweeted tweet of the year by far:
Man open carrying gun promoting right to open carry guns robbed by man w/gun saying "Give me your gun": http://t.co/TrUngxwm7W
— Wagner James Au (@slhamlet) October 8, 2014
So not a Tweet about the metaverse or virtual guns, as one might wish it would be, but a meta Tweet about real guns. (But what can you do?)
Wow. Your link is to a link of a link to the link of the original article. None of the intermediary sites offer any kind of benefit other than ads. *facepalm* You can do better, amig0!

Heard that on NPR this morning.
Funny and poetic justice that a gun-wacko gets robbed by a gun-thug.

"Your link is to a link of a link to the link of the original article."
Yeah, I sent the tweet before noticing that -- but at least that just makes this meta tweet meta-er.

Much more interested in why you are ignoring the ebbe interview
Posted by: Tankgirl | Wednesday, October 08, 2014 at 10:38 AM
Well.. let's say we ban open carry, would that prevent people from getting killed by gun carrying criminals, I actually don't think so.
There's always going to be people with criminal intentions arming themselves one way or another, but if guns were outlawed, only outlaws would have them guns.

FredTheGamer, that is the most overly used, ridiculous excuse for open carry.

"the ebbe interview"
Link?

@Metacam: If mustard gas was outlawed, only outlaws would have mustard gas. We should all run down to North Korea and get us some chemical weapons to um... use in duck hunting.

But if everyone else is already covering it... what's the point in yet more of that?
Posted by: Pussycat Catnap | Wednesday, October 08, 2014 at 02:08 PM
@Pussycat, 90% of people with nuclear, biological and chemical weapons use them in a safe, sane manner, and if that other 10% occasionally employs them to wipe out a grade school or small town, well, isn't that a small price to pay to know that you've got your very own stockpile of plutonium, anthrax and nerve gas to protect your family from the hordes of vicious criminals we all see prowling the streets?
After all, the right to keep and bear arms is absolute, the founders didn't mean anything by the "well-regulated" militia clause, and anybody who disagrees is a communist traitor in league with Obama's secret homeland invasion force.

Ahh I can't believe you guys, you seriously buy into that stuff? "Yes someone else must protect us becuase we can't do it ourselves until the cops arrive, becuase that is what we have been told and we must comply." it's adorable in a way.. :)
Ok, but back to the story. The guy who robbed the open carry dude, is he a hero now or what?
Yes, I want the Ebbe interview, I'm interested in James Au's take on what he said.
