Coming soon to Apple products, this augmented reality technology:

Apple's acquisition also means this: Nearly every Internet/high tech giant is now in the virtual/augmented reality industry.
And if any of them is able to make this technology appealing to the mass market, it's probably going to be Apple.

what would AR look like for the day to day user. While it might be great for advertising, why do I need something that will replace the apple watch? Sure it would be nice for email, but we have phones and now watches. Why do I have to keep buying things that shave milliseconds off my productivity activities. While the watch is something reasonable I can't see this going far for the average person in 2015 but who knows about 2020.

I wonder why Apple still passes as a "high tech giant" these days. Their flagship product is not technology but religion.
