So How Old is Your Avatar? Please Don't Say 24

How Old, as the URL name suggests, is a site (from Microsoft) that analyzes and estimates the age of the person in any photo you upload. It's been viral for the last few days, and of course I wondered if it would analyze the age of avatars in screenshots I uploaded, and of course it does. 34 sounds about right for my Second Life avatar, though it's notable that my MyIdol avatar is slightly younger. My guess is most Second Life avatars will land in their late 20s/early 30s, and if anyone happened to upload their IMVU (bleh) avatar, he or she would be in their early 20s. But maybe I'm wrong!

BTW, My Age doesn't seem to work super consistently on RL photos, at least mine, with the program guessing my age from 34 to 60 (WTF). But I bet that has to do with different lighting and angles, and avatar age estimates will be tend to be more consistent.

Mine is the same age I'm at in RL now. Quite good going seeing as it was taken 4 years ago so at the time, my avatar was actually older than I was :)

That seems about right to me, since she has a sort of "catalog model" look and they are often in the 25- 30 age range.

Lighting seems to affect it quite a bit; I get results varying from 18 to 30.
