Explore Second Life is an indispensable Flickr stream for beautiful images from across the metaverse, but as the title suggests, it's also an explorer's guide: Each image comes with a SLurl, so if you like what you see, you can click to visit. (Like this place above, captured by Maddy Eclectica.) It's managed by SL social media star Strawberry Singh, so you know you're in good hands; here's her guidelines for submitted new images.
My only disappointment is there's no obvious way to sort the images by most Likes or comments, so you can see the most popular and/or discussed images and locations. Or am I missing how to do that?

Thanks for the plug Hamlet! Unfortunately there is no way to sort things like that in flickr groups, they just display the latest additions to the group first. But I know that flickr is messing about with groups and currently making changes. This is their flickr discussion about the beta: https://www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/72157645851675914/
Perhaps they will add a sorting feature like that in the future.

I love the Explore Second Life photostream! There are a number of other destination-themed groups on Flickr with a similar concept, but most are lacking the tight moderation and focus of Berry's group. (People sneaking their LOTD fashion photos into entirely unrelated groups seems to be something of a sport; I feel badly for the moderators who constantly have to weed them back out again.)
Thanks again for highlighting these Flickr groups and photostreams. The artistry that comes out of SL, both in the photos and the sims themselves, is mind-boggling!

Thank you for the blog about the photo and the sim.
I encourage all photographers to share their amazing gifts :)
Thanks for sharing.
