Taking time off from High Fidelity, here's Philip Rosedale rocking an electric blue swim suit, demonstrating a brand new Rosedale service just in time for Summer - drone-powered cocktail delivery:
Pretty impressive, and I can see this Rosedale service scaling to become massive.
Oh wait, I don't mean Philip Rosedale:
The video and drone piloting is actually by August Rosedale, Philip's teen son, who notably, runs a YouTube video channel called "RandomSFstuff" with nearly 8,000 subscribers. Wonder if he and his dad will partner together to create a mixed reality version of drone piloting, so people in High Fidelity can pilot the cocktail drone within the virtual world. (Hint hint.)

"Scaling to become massive"? Maybe I'm being dense and that's snark.
Digerati, meet reality: FAA rules about drones flying out of sight of an operator.
That 20th Century sure dies hard, doesn't it?
But my very last-century Martini shaker is nearby, no drone needed to turn out the perfect cocktail. Cheers from the last century!
