As a complement to our survey on Project Sansar, here's a survey on Second Life's userbase at the end of 2016. Will it add more users next year, stay roughly the same, or dwindle in size?
Survey results shared in the New Year! Meantime, feel free to discuss reasons behind your answers in Comments below:
Where is the answer for 1 million plus? Seriously *giggles* It could happen.

I'd feel safer betting on the number of private estates left, since that number is on a clear and shallow glide-path downward.

At the rate that open sim is solving the issues and closing the gap to all that would make Sl unique (Sl physics scripts already working, crossing sims with objects not attached working), i do fear many will change,not to Sansar but to Osg or kitely.

Linden Lab is trying really hard to make SL a better place 'so my vote was "more" and from what can be seen from my viewpoint 'smiles' things are growing!.
Who cares about Sansar it's not a replacement for SL just a new product from linden lab!
"Is everyone using blocksworld? 'duh!"
Asking for predictions is just allowing an opportunity for another witch hunt against linden lab here.
you want real polling try asking inworld instead? you know avatar to avatar its more valid that way then depending on the sock puppets here..

Sock puppets? Ugh, I object to that term as I am the same opinionated avi in world as I am on my blog as I am in every comment section and forum I've not yet been banned from. So can you please rephrase your statement to "... then depending on the sock puppets, except Orcsibaby, here"?

-> Orca
Well the puppets are easy to spot to get rid of it's the child avatars you need to watch out for . every time I see one I get strange urges that make me feel uncomfortable . So I AR them over and over until the lindens ban the little creeps !

@Adeon Writers
Another way to spot a sock puppet is to notice when an s is added on to someone who is well known's name as in:
Adeon Writer
Adeon Writers
I"m assuming you are not Adeon Writer.

Child avatars don't disgust me, what i found disgusting is ppl assuming that a child avatar means some horrific going on!
