I'm seeing more YouTube videos like this on a regular basis -- SL fashion bloggers turning on the video capture to record and upload SL fashion vlogs. (This one in particular being from UK fashionista Saffron in the blogosphere and The Sulphur Rose on YouTube, who's got a great voice and personality for video.)
I expect we'll see more and more SL bloggers moving to YouTube, especially as wearing the underlying fashion becomes ever more complicated to set up and adjust. Bento fashion vlogs, anyone?

It is nice to see something on youtube other than vids making fun of SL.
It would be nice now if some of the people making fashion blogs could learn some basic anatomy so their avatars didn't look so amazingly horrible.
She does have slightly T-Rex arms though - they need to be about 1-hand length longer (finger tips should hit mid-thigh).
And while SL people are used to seeing this - the outside world is just going to see 'bad graphics' and not know why... Without training all you can do is look and see its "bad", but not be able to tell that its not the fault of the platform, nor even why it seems "bad".
This is the difference between SL figure distortion and something like Picasso - Picasso knew anatomy very well, so when he distorted it he could get across to even an untrained viewer that the distortion was the effect, and not an accident of a lack of skill (or for a digital platform - a failing on the technology).
Videos like this will be both good and bad.
People will see SL as more than 'some dumb thing full of wierdos' (or whatever it is the griefer blogs say of SL).
But they will also see what they interpret as 'bad graphics / lame characters' when its actually just poor anatomy...
