We should have heeded the warning signs last year, when the pro-Trump demons started circling virtual campaign headquarters, and certainly when a former virtual worlds company CEO and Gamergate promoter became Trump's top adviser, and yet here we are. Unlike Second Life, however, the original designers of America implemented a time-tested anti-griefing system integrated with robust tools enabling users to block and penalize the worst forms of trolling, all of which should kick in soon. (Or, perhaps, in four years.)

Well, like eight years ago, the voters made their choice. Just as Obama wasn't the monster his most vocal opponents made him out to be, I'm sure Trump won't be what his are.

@Bixyl. No. There is a difference between painting a peaceful democracy lover in Obama and a clear bully hatemonger like Trump.
Get your head out of the sand.

Rather than argue politics, let's talk about how great it is that blocking trolls is pretty easy in SL, at least on an individual level.
If more social platforms were based on voice (with blocking abilities) I think we would have had less of a problem in 2016 with trolls. A Russian accent is pretty easy to hear. lol
