This powerful image from Daeberethwen Arbenlow is the perfect way to start a Monday after a weekend of country-wide protests against the Trump Administration's now-embattled Muslim refugee ban. Ms. Arbenlow actually created it for Shiloh Selene-Goldlust's Flickr to illustrate resistance to the misogyny and bigotry unleashed and encouraged by the Trump era, but that was a whole week ago, and a new wave of resistance has launched since then.
If you have an account, see more from the Flickr page here (some are not worksafe viewing).
Beautiful picture, but if this is in support of citizens in those countries, I think if the model wore a niqab or a atleast a hijab, and clothes that covered the body in solidarity with women in those countries, it would accentuate the situation better.
I do realize the "topless gets attention" thing from a marketing perspective, but sometimes it just gets a little strange.
