While Linden Lab's last two promo videos for Sansar showcased indie developers Blueberry and Max Graf, this latest video spotlights the work of Anrick (led by a dude with the same name), a London-based studio that's developed VR games for Google Daydream and also commercial VR projects for Prius, Lexus, and other impressive brands. Notable that a company of that caliber is already working in Sansar, which is very much an unproven platform (compared to, say, Google Daydream, which is still niche itself).
Since very few indie developers can work on this level, and very few people own high-end VR rigs, Linden Lab is probably dependent on companies like this, and backing from major sponsors to produce Sansar content.
this looks like one of those beautiful builds you find within Second life, but which turn out to be ultimately unsatisfying because nothing ever happens. They are static, in real life we'd call them wastelands. Not to denigrate what looks like a very skilled build, just to wonder if there can be little birds hopping from tree to tree, scarcely seen. Or, a troop of monkeys. I know it's hard to do well, I've tried in SL. Its a pity if that part of the state of the art hasn't progressed past what was possible 5 years ago in SL.
