Having just binge-watched Season 2 of Stranger Things, I was super-enthused to come across this impressive Second Life-based cosplay of Eleven (Season 1 version) by SLer Kismet Faith, frozen waffles and all. As fate would have it, Kismet shared with me how she created her version of Eleven (see what I did there?):
Elle's telekinetically bleeding nose is from a "face wounds" fashion line (yes, that's a thing in Second Life) from the SL brand Arise -- links in the Flickr above.

Same goes for the Stranger Things Light Wall, for alphabetic communications from the Upside Down -- it's a Second Life skybox:
Hopefully Netflix is a bit more forgiving about virtual world tributes to its flagship show, then real world ones. (The company recently sent a "friendly" cease-and-desist letter to a Stranger Things-themed pop-up bar in Chicago.)
Now what we really need are Animesh-based Demi-dogs!
Vocabulary choice was great and apart from that this article really had a nice flow throughout
