Major updates in the new version of Sinespace, the Unity 3D-based multi-user platform (and proud NWN partner!): You can read the updates on the Sinespace client here, and download the new client (7b5) on this page.
Biggest updates? For my money, it starts with support for Sinespace groups, including a group chat stream. This enables many, many Sinespace users to keep in touch with each other, in more or less real time. To create a new group from Sinespace, click Friends and then Create New Group (See pic below.) I just created a "New World Notes" group, of course.
Another major improvement: URLs for web-based access to regions. A bit similar to SLurls for Second Life, your regions come with their own unique web URL; so when someone clicks that URL, it's loads the WebGL-based viewer in your web browser. In other ways, a good way to get new users into a Sinespace experience without having to download the client or even create an account. This feature is available from the Home button of the client. See below:
Many more updates here. As always, post any questions for the Sinespace dev team in Comments, and I'll nudge them to reply!
