Remember that VRChat bird commando from South Korea whose real life owner told sad stories of being in the military, and also, being out of work? After Syrmor's first video interview went viral, someone from Nexon -- a major South Korean-based game publisher with a huge SoCal office -- reached out to Syrmor and asked to get in touch. And so now it looks like the bird commando is moving to Los Angeles to help Nexon with localization projects.
All that in the follow-up interview above, including sage advice for learning how to navigate LA by playing Grand Theft Auto 5, and even sadder stories of a family tragedy, all illustrating the power of avatars to cross social boundaries.
