Since Upload VR featured the new Archimatix support for real-time, multi-user 3D modeling in Sinespace (a NWN partner!), there's been questions from new users about how to get started. Thanks to Sinespace's Dolome Demonia, here's some basic tips, after you've created a free account:
For starters, there's a free region to play around with some Archimatix objects (pictured above) -- click Explore and then enter "Archimatix Demos" in search.
To use Archimatrix within Sinespace within your own Home region, log into the world's live server, and purchase an already-made Archimatix item. You can find these by simply clicking the viewer's Shop tab, then looking under the Structure tab. Each item in the store will indicate if it includes Archimatix functionality. For example, here's one in the Sinespace store now:
Once you've purchased it, go to your free home region by clicking Home. Then click the Edit Room button, and choose the item from the inventory list. Place it wherever you want it to go, and then save and close. You are then free to edit the item. From there, it's very intuitive -- click and drag corners of the object to start editing the object!
