Well this is a novel use of VR if you can attend this Thursday at 10am PST:
Join a group of professional actors in VR as you walk through a virtual movie set and perform a scene inspired by the movie Stepmom (1998), a comedy-drama film starring Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, and Ed Harris. You will have the opportunity to perform one of the roles, or simply enjoy watching the scene from any vantage point you want (something that's impossible when watching a movie on a screen!) The scene will be repeated several times to give you the chance to participate, or spectate, from different points of view.
Two professional actors are performing the scene in VR rigs: Veteran Italian film/TV star Teresa Pascarelli and American actor Gregory Snegoff, who's done a lot voice work for acclaimed anime including My Neighbor Totoro, Wicked City, and My Neighbor Totoro.
