A new update to Sinespace (2018.9b28) is now available in beta for preview here (for Windows users, click "Creator Preview Release" when installing), featuring a whole host of much-demanded enhancements and improvements from the longtime NWN partner -- chief among them, greatly improved avatars. Sinespace lead developer Adam Frisby on the avatar updates:
"We've improved avatar lighting, adding greater detail into textures (default bump and occlusion were overhauled completely); skin uses a better compression algorithm (less pixel-y), and we've made improvements to the rigging of the default avatar. That's been solidly helped by some of our new creators, who have been producing great new skins and makeup/tattoo layers." (See above and below.)
Also, the viewer is now available in French, Japanese, and Chinese, selectable at the login screen. (German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian are coming soon.)
For 3D content creators, the biggest update is the Inspector, which enables live, in-viewer editing of 3D objects, which works like the Unity editor, but within the virtual world. Here's a teaser:
More updates in the development notes on the Sinespace blog. Another useful addition is the "URL Handler", which operates much like the SLurls of Second Life: I.E., "Allows you to launch the client to particular regions, items in the shop and such."

Did anyone vet those screenshots before release? They are enough to give one nightmares.
