Cajsa Lilliehook covers the best in virtual world screenshot art and digital painting
You can see Yuya Jinx’s entire photostream of Second Life images in a moment. This photo is called “...” which implies a continuation which surely works with a ship at sea, but then she uses ellipses for other pictures. I love how the clouds reflect on the water, the brilliance of the sun and the birds following the boat which is placed using the Golden Mean. It is exquisite.

It’s a year later and the picture titles remain ellipses and the beautiful minimalism remains. This is a picture that stops you in your tracks. After all, why is there a ladder on a small bit of an island? Why is anything there? It’s surrealism, but minimalist surrealism. Can there be such a thing?
This picture of gothic ruins backlit by moonlight is equally stunning and exploring a more realistic take on the world. A cathedral of trees is encroaching on the ruins replacing the man-made with the natural. This is a romantic picture, reminding us that Nature is, in the end, the victor.
There are only nine photos in Jinx's photostream and every single one is a work of art.
